Description. If the total number of Events attached to the Business Block is less than or equal to this value, the Catering Revenue will be automatically calculated in the Business Block screen and Sub Events will be automatically expanded in the Event Search screen.

Activation / Inactivation Rules. 

Enter the desired number of events for automatic calculation of the 1) Catering Revenue and 2) expansion of Sub Events.

  • Catering Revenue

- When there is no value set in the CALCULATE EVENT REVENUE application setting, catering revenue is automatically calculated in the Catering Revenue section on the Business Block screen for all events associated with the business block.

- When a value is entered in the CALCULATE EVENT REVENUE application setting for the number of events (i.e. 25) whose revenue is to be calculated, the catering revenue will be automatically calculated in the Catering Revenue section on the Business Block screen for those number of events. This applies when the events attached are less than or equal to the value set (i.e. 25 or less).

- When the business block has more events than entered in the CALCULATE EVENT REVENUE application setting (i.e. 26+), the Catering Revenue will not be automatically calculated in the Business Block screen until the Calc button is selected. The Calc button is only visible when a value has been entered in the CALCULATE EVENT REVENUE application setting.

  • Event Search/Sub Event

    - When a Business Block ID is populated in the Event Search screen, sub events will be automatically expanded for the first 13 events.

- When the application setting CALCULATE EVENT REVENUE is set to a value greater than 13, (i.e. 20) sub events will be automatically expanded up to the set amount of events (i.e. 20).

- After the set value of events has been reached, i.e. 20, any events after the 20th will not be automatically expanded.
