Description. Activate Ownership of profiles by chain code. After activating this parameter, run utility "Synchronize Chains" under Utilities->Profile. This is a one time process that synchronizes the Chain Code on the existing profiles in OPERA.
Internal Name. CHAIN_OWNERSHIP
Property Determination. By activating this application function, profiles attached to reservations that are booked through multiple chain brands from one Central Reservation System, cannot be shared between the chain brands. Profiles will need to be created for each specific chain brand.

When the GENERIC CRO, CHAIN OWNERSHIP and CRO PROPERTY LINK parameters are active and OEDS is configured to initialize with a Generic CRO, profile management will be prohibited in the OWS Name, Membership and Security web services. An error response will be returned for these web services when requests are made. |
