Description. Profile Notifications Management.
Internal Name. PROFILE_NOTIFICATIONS
Property Determination. Activation of this application function enables a property to attach configurable messages to specific guest profiles for a property user to complete a specific task for that guest profile. Based on the areas that the notifications are setup for, the Profile Notification screen is automatically displayed to the user to complete a task or tasks. For example, if a guest had a bad experience on their previous stay and they are supposed to receive some sort of compensation on their next stay, then this could be attached to the guest profile.

Configuration>Setup>Note Types Profile Options>Notifications CHECK IN: The Notification will pop up when selecting the Check In button for the reservation made with a profile that has a Notification attached. CHECK OUT: The Notification will pop up when the Billing screen is accessed for this reservation (Cashiering – Billing). This happens even if this is not the Departure date. NOTE: The Notification will not pop up anywhere. It will only display in the Notification area and can be accessed via Profile – Edit – Options - Notifications PROFILE: The Notification will pop up when the profile accessed for editing. RESERVATION: The Notification will pop up when a new Reservation is made with the profile (when accessing the Reservation screen) or when an existing Reservation is edited. |
