SFA Deployment

SFA (active OPF<version number> Opera SFA license) can be deployed as a stand-alone system or fully integrated with other OPERA Enterprise System applications, as described below:

• SFA only with OPERA PMS or S&C in the same central database, no OXI licenses are required.
• SFA and ORS with OPERA PMS or S&C in the same central database, no OXI licenses are required.
• PMS/S&C/SFA or V6 are not in the same database (without ORS). Configure the external system for the OXI interface via the OPX_SFA license (Opera Xchange 2-way interface for SFA).
• SFA/OCIS/ORS are in the same central environment, communicating with OPERA PMS and S&C in remote systems. In the remote system, configure the external system for the OXI interface via the OPX_SFA license (Opera Xchange 2-way interface for SFA) only if ORS is not already configured as the external system. If ORS is already configured as the external system, see Note below.

  Note: If ORS and SFA are running in the same central environment, do not activate the external system for SFA if ORS is already configured as the external system. When activating the OPX_SFA license (Opera Xchange 2-way interface for SFA), you will receive this warning before you confirm whether or not you want to activate the external system for SFA: ‘If you have already an active ORS interface please DO NOT activate the external system for SFA. All business events necessary for SFA should be configured for external system ‘ORS’. Do not create duplicate systems and business events for SFA and ORS if both are located in the same external database. OK’.
