Description. Activate the Rate Restriction Functionality, which includes the Rate Availability and Rate Strategy screens.

Property Determination. Would you like the ability to set rate restrictions, stay restrictions and selling strategies through the PMS? Activate this option used by OPERA to determine the rate code and room type availability within the Rate Query and Reservation screens. These rate restrictions allow properties to control rate availability based on date or range of dates, rate categories/rate codes, and room classes/room types, which can also be done on the house level.

When set to Y, the Rates>Rate Strategy Threshold Notification Email Addresses application setting becomes available. The Rates>Rate Strategy Logging for Reservation Restrictions application parameter is only available when this application function is set to Y. |
