Description. Ability to post a Credit Card Surcharge. The Application Parameter Setting DEFAULT CC SURCHARGE TRN CODE has to be configured as well.

Internal Name. CC_SURCHARGE

Property Determination. When set to Y, a credit card surcharge percentage and threshold level can be configured for credit card payment types. These fields will be available on the Setup>Configuration>Cashiering>Payment Types screen. When posting a payment, the credit card surcharge percentage will display on the Payment, Post It, and Deposit screens provided the Amount Due is equal to or greater than the threshold amount.

In ORS/OCIS, this feature is only available for deposits.

DEFAULT CC SURCHARGE TRN CODE

When Credit Card Transaction Surcharge is set to Y, users will not be allowed to change the Advanced Deposit Handling setting to anything other than a 0, 1 or 2.
