Chains List
The Chains screen allows you to search for and view chain information. From this screen, you can select options to create a new chain or edit or delete an existing chain on the list.
The Chains screen is available when the:
Note: Depending on the user's permission group, the default chain code for the default property will be:
- When a user logs into a chain as a member of the OPERA Supervisor Group, the default chain code is CHA for the default property (access to all profiles and properties in the chain).
- When a user logs in and is not a member of the OPERA Supervisor Group, the default chain code is that of the default property.
- If the supervisor changes the chain code for the default property from CHA to another chain code (i.e. FARB01), when another supervisor logs into that chain (FARB01), the default property will still have CHA as the default chain code for that supervisor.
Chain Code. Select the alpha numeric chain code from the list of values for which you have access.
Name. Enter the name of the chain.
Inactive. Select to display inactive chains.
Chain. The chain's identifying code.
Name. The name of the chain.
Description. The full descriptive of the chain.
Begin Date. The date when the chain's properties can begin to be sold.
End Date. The date when the chain is no longer available and cannot be displayed or sold.
New. Select to create a new chain. The Chain Configuration screen appears. The newly created chain automatically becomes part of the property. The new chain will also become part of the list of values to be made available for other properties.
Edit. Highlight an existing chain and select Edit to modify the current configuration. The Chain Configuration screen appears.
