Create a Contact for an Account
To add a new contact, you must first have an account to "attach" the contact to. If the contact’s account has not been created, see Creating a New Account. Every contact must have an account.
- Select Accounts>Search from the OPERA Main Menu.
- The Account Search screen displays. Select the Contacts button.
- The Contacts Search screen displays with the account's name. Select the New button.
- The Contacts screen displays. Enter relevant information into the Address Information fields. The address should have copied over from the Accounts screen.
- Enter the information for the Internal Information, Personal Information and Communications fields.
- Select the Save button.
- A warning prompt displays if any mandatory fields were left blank. Select the Close button.
- The Contacts search screen displays and the new contact appears in the list.
