Description. Activate Fixed Charges Functionality
Internal Name. FIXED_CHARGES
Property Determination. Do you want the ability to have OPERA automatically post certain charges along with room and tax? This is definable on each reservation. (For example, along with any applicable room charges, post a parking charge each night as well). It may happen that the same transaction is posted to a guest’s bill on a regular schedule (i.e. daily or weekly). The Fixed Charges feature lets you identify these kinds of recurring charges so they can be automatically posted during the Night Audit or whenever an Advanced Bill is requested. The Fixed Charges feature also offers a convenient way to automatically post a fixed charge once, on a specific date of the guest’s stay.
