Generic Information for Group Reservations to Marsha

This topic contains the following Mandatory information for group upload - marsha only

• The blocks are built manually in CRS and PMS.
• A mini hotel has to be created in MARSHA first.  
• The Mini Hotel header is finished first.
• In PMS, a block header must be created with exactly the same block code as the mini hotel code and the same market code (rate code).
• All other details such as dates, room types, number of rooms must match as well.
• If a pick-up from a block is made in PMS, the block code must be sent to MARSHA for the recognition of that reservation as a group reservation. This is done through the rate/block code conversion table, where users have to enter newly created block codes linked to the rate codes they are using with that block. During upload, the table is evaluated and if the rate code found has a block (Mini hotel) code linked to it, the message is sent as a group booking to MARSHA.

• Dates/Mini-hotel code/Name of group

• Market code
• Group/convention description:
• (C) means convention, conference and can be booked by anybody. (H) means housing indicator and can only be booked directly through property. (E) stands for extending.
• Group contact information (equivalent to our group profile)
• Allotted number of rooms
