Folio Balance Inquiry Messages from PTS
The Folio Balance Inquiry Messages from PTS functionality is available with the OPX_TIBC license code.
Guest Folio Balance Inquiry Messages permit the PTS to inquire about the guest’s current folio balance in OPERA. This enables the PTS user to check the balance for a particular guest.
When this inquiry is received from PTS, OPERA will return all current rooms that this guest has checked into with the balance details for each folio window in each room.
The PTS may send a BalanceInquiryRequest message to OPERA with the internal and external ID’s associated with the player. OPERA responds with a BalanceInquiryResponse message with information of all balance details on all folio windows for each room the guest has currently occupied. The response message can be received as a summary or in detail.
