Reservation Notification Messages to PTS
The Reservation Notification Messages to PTS functionality is available with the following license codes:
The PTS needs to know when a guest has checked into or out of the hotel, and may desire to know when a reservation is created or updated. For this purpose, OPERA sends a notification message that can be configured to notify any level of changes per setup of business events.
The PTS may require only the information that the guest has checked into the hotel, or may desire to know of any changes to a reservation.
OPERA sends a ReservationNotificationRequest message to the PTS when any configured business event occurs that affects the reservation. The PTS responds with a ReservationNotificationResponse message, however, OPERA does no processing on the response.
