PTS Membership Type Functionality

The PTS Membership Type Functionality is available with the following license codes:

• OPX_GA2
• OPX_BALL
• OPX_ACRS
• OPX_TIBC
• OPX_ACSC
• OPX_ARIS

Purpose

OPERA utilizes its membership functionality to associate an external identifier supplied by the PTS to profile information stored within the PMS. OPERA requires that a default PTS membership type be setup to create this association.

Underlying Assumptions

The PTS should maintain a table that stores the OPERA profile IDs for each player. OPERA uses the membership functionality to attach a reference identifier supplied by the PTS to the profile. Since the player ID is unique throughout all properties, and each property will have its own OPERA profile ID for this guest, it is necessary that one record per OPERA property be stored in this table to recognize the player ID/OPERA profile ID belonging to each property.
