Potential Ownership Selection
When creating a new Potential, the main owner defaults to the company's main owner if a company is attached. Otherwise, an owner needs to be selected during the Potential creation process. There can only be one primary owner per Potential record.
Adding Additional Owners
- Select Potential > Search from the Main Menu.
- Using the Potential Search Criteria, find the record you want to work with and select the Display button.
- Go to the Owner field and select the ellipsis button.
- The Select Owner screen displays. The top grid displays all of the sales representatives available in OPERA. The lower grid displays the current sales representatives attached to this record (if any), and shows the default owner if attached. (The Primary flag checkbox should be marked if there is a single owner.)
- In the top grid, highlight the additional owner (a dark blue bar appears). Choose the Select button to move this owner to the lower grid.
- If required, change the Primary flag.
- Select the OK button, which will save and close this screen.
Deleting Owners
- Deleting an owner indicates that the sales representative selected is no longer part of this record.
- Select Potential > Search from the Main Menu.
- Using the Potential Search Criteria, find the record to work with and select the Display button.
- Go to the Owner field and select the ellipsis button.
- The Select Owner screen displays. The top grid displays all of the sales representatives available. The lower grid displays the current sales representatives attached to this record, and shows the default owner.
- In the lower grid, highlight the owner you want to delete and choose the Un-Select button to move this owner to the lower grid.
- If required, change the Primary flag.
- Select the OK button, which will save and close this screen
