When a new profile is created and the Profile Privacy is active and the Profiles>Privacy Default Opted In application parameter is set to Y, then none of the options are selected, as when the parameter is set to N, all the options are automatically selected. I do NOT want to receive promotional information. When the check box is selected, the guest wishes not to be included on the property's mailing list. This is the second entry point where it can be selected rather the guest is or isn't included on this feature. If this field is selected on the above screen, then the Mailing List field on the main Profile screen will display N as well.
