Description. Reservation Color Definition
Internal Name. RESERVATION_COLOR_DEFINITION
Property Determination. These colors can be applied to either a reservation or to a guest as a quick reference to the user. For example, if a guest is disabled or not registered with the property, or if the reservation is important in one way or another. The description for the color can be anything that is agreed on by the property.

MARKET_CODE- Use Color Setting of the Reservation Market Code
MEMBERSHIP_LEVEL-Use Color Setting of the Default Membership Level (only visible when a value is defined for Profiles > Default Membership Type)
VIP_LEVEL- Use Color Setting of the VIP Level of the Guest (visible when the VIP function is active)
RESERVATION- Use Color Setting of the Reservation
NONE- No Colors

On the Reservation or Reservation More Fields screens, these colors can be applied to the guest from a list of values; this Color field must be screen painted in order to be accessible.

Examples
Scenario 1 :
Application setting RESERVATION COLOR DEFINITION = NONE
- On the Reservation Search screen (RSSEARCH), the Color column is not visible.
- On the Operator screen (Ctrl+F7, ARR_DEP), the Color column is not visible.
- On Room Plan screen (Ctrl+F3, RMPLAN00) the reservation shows with the default blue gray background.
Scenario 2:
Application setting RESERVATION COLOR DEFINITION = RESERVATION
- On the Reservation Search screen (RSSEARCH), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the reservation color field is NONE or is left blank, the Color column shows as the default blue gray background. If the color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows white background.
- On the Operator screen (Ctrl+F7, ARR_DEP), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the reservation color field is NONE or is left blank, the Color column shows as the default blue gray background. If the color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows white background.
- On Room Plan screen (Ctrl+F3, RMPLAN00), for reservations where the reservation Color field is NONE or is left blank, the reservation shows with the default blue gray background. If the color is set to WHITE, then the background shows as a white background.
Scenario 3:
Application setting RESERVATION COLOR DEFINITION = VIP CODE
- On the Reservation Search screen (RSSEARCH), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the color associated with the VIP code of the guest is NONE, then the Color column on the RSSEARCH screen shows as the default blue gray background. If the VIP color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows a white background.
- On the Operator screen (Ctrl+F7, ARR_DEP), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the color associated with the VIP code of the guest is NONE, then the Color column on the Operator screen shows as the default blue gray background. If the VIP color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows a white background.
- On Room Plan screen (Ctrl+F3, RMPLAN00), for reservations where the VIP color is NONE or is left blank, the background shows as the default blue gray background. If the color is set to WHITE, then the background shows as a white background.
Scenario 4:
Application setting RESERVATION COLOR DEFINITION = MARKET CODE
- On the Reservation Search screen (RSSEARCH), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the color associated with the Market Code on the reservation is NONE, then the Color column on the RSSEARCH screen shows as the default blue gray background. If the Market Code color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows a white background.
- On the Operator screen (Ctrl+F7, ARR_DEP), the Color column is visible; for reservations where the color associated with the Market Code on the reservation is NONE, then the Color column on the Operator screen shows as the default blue gray background. If the Market Code color is set to WHITE, then the Color column shows a white background.
- On Room Plan screen (Ctrl+F3, RMPLAN00), for reservations where the Market Code color is NONE or is left blank, the background shows as the default blue gray background. If the color is set to WHITE, then the background shows as a white background.
