Description. Reservation Flow

Internal Name. RESERVATION FLOW

Property Determination. Depending on the way your property wants to approach reservation making, the sequence of screens presented to you may vary. For example, reservation making can start from the Rate Query screen, the Property Calendar, the Cross-Selling Sales screen, etc.

Activation / Inactivation Rules.

The F7 CROSS SELL AND DIRECT option is available when the OPP_MHT2 PMS Multi Property Cross Reservations license code is active. If the F7 CROSS SELL AND DIRECT option is selected and the OPP_MHT2 PMS Multi Property Cross Reservations license code is inactivated, the Reservation Flow setting defaults to DIRECT.

Available Values.

DIRECT - Direct to new reservations

RATE QUERY - Rate Query Assessment for New Reservation

CALENDAR - Property Calendar for New Reservation

CALENDAR/GRID - Property Calendar with Rate Grid for New Reservation

ROOM PLAN/GRID - Room Plan with Rate Grid for New Reservations

F7 CROSS SELL AND DIRECT - Sales Screen "Define Search" for New Reservation.

The Sales Screen appears with the Define Search screen open for new reservations when a new reservation is made from the following locations; from other locations, DIRECT will be used:

Reservations> New Reservation menu selection.
Reservation Search screen> New button.
F5 Quick Key> Rate Query button.
Room Plan screen> New button.
Profiles Search screen> Resv button.
Arrivals screen> Walk In button.
Reservation Dashboards> New Reservation option.
Reservation Dashboards> Walk In option.
OVOS Dashboard> New rental reservation (when the VOS_<version_number> license code is active.
