Description. webProposal version

Internal Name. WEBPROPOSAL_VERSION

Property Determination. This setting controls which version of the webProposal XML is sent by the webProposal module. The version you select depends on the version of webProposal XML that OPERA is connected to.

Note: Make sure that the webProposal system that OPERA is connected to has been updated to be able to handle the version selected. Otherwise the use of the wrong WEBPROPOSAL VERSION parameter will result in a connection error when attempting to connect to webProposal from OPERA. If this occurs, change the parameter back to an earlier WEBPROPOSAL VERSION (whichever version was in use before), log completely out of OPERA and then back in again, and retry the connection.

• Version1 = version 1 of the webProposal XML (V5.0.02.02 and earlier). Version1 is also compatible with later versions of webProposal.
• Version2 = version 2 of the webProposal XML (V5.0.02.03 and later). Version2 is not compatible with earlier versions of webProposal (this version is not backward compatible).
• Version3 = version 3 of the webProposal XML (V5.0.04.00 and later with webProposal sprint 2.8 or earlier). When this parameter is set to Version 3 , the catering event schedule will appear strictly in event start time order, irrespectively of package events / non-package events. Package events and non-package events are mixed on the schedule.
• Version4 = version 4 of the webProposal XML (V5.0.04.01 and later with webProposal sprint 2.9 or later). The following features and fields will be available in OPERA when on Version 4.

    Available when a value has been configured for the OPERA S&C webProposal Menu URL Link from the Configuration>Setup>Menu URL Setup>Menu URL Links option.
