Part 2 - Activate License, Application Parameters and Permissions

In part 2, you will activate the OBI Client license, set application parameters and grant your user the required permission as indicated below:

Licenses

• Activate the OBP_CBI (OBI Client) license
• All other OBI licenses must be Inactive on the client side

Application Parameters

• The General>OBI CLIENT SETUP parameter is set to Y.
• The OBI Client>OBI EXPORT RECEIVER SERVER NAME setting is configured.

  Note: The above setting is the name of the application server that will point to an 11g Database containing the 11g OBI and OPERA schemas. The name of the application server should follow an "https://[app_server_name]" convention. It will also host the OXI-HUB Servlet, which you will use to configure your exports from PMS.

Permissions

• The OBI Client Group>OBI CLIENT SETUP permission is granted to the user.
