Configuring ORS for OXI_Hub Compatibility

OXI_Hub (OPERA Xchange Interface HUB) is the OPERA interface that provides the data transfer link between ORS and PMS. OXI_Hub is installed in a separate process on its own database server where most of the configuration takes place. However, for compatibility reasons, some OXI_Hub configuration is required in ORS as outlined below.  Ensure these ORS components are configured for OXI_Hub compatibility:

• Activate the proper ORS/OCIS Licenses.
• Configure the reservation, block, and profile components that are required for OXI_HUB.
• Configure the external databases.
• Configure external systems and business events.
